The Streaming Solutions Engineer will be responsible for supporting all aspects of streaming for high quality video content and multiple facets of a video streaming workflow from real-time ingestion to Flam platform. This includes video transmission via cloud-based encoders. Flam is seeking a candidate that has deep and broad knowledge of streaming technologies and is familiar with modern streaming protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop a world class streaming engine to serve high quality video content.
• Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to design compression pipelines and video creation tools for content creators.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues

Skills and qualification

• Freshers with knowledge of video transcoding may apply
• Familiarity with AWS streaming services and remote streaming support
• Knowledge of streaming media protocols: HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), DASH, RTMP, RTSP, etc.
